On March 11, Security Forces (SFs) neutralised a terrorist hideout and recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a remote forest area of Rajouri District in the Chamrer forest area of Thanamandi in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Officials stated that besides a ready-to-use IED, SFs also recovered some eatables and clothes from the hideout. However, no arrests were made in connection with the recovery. The operation formed part of ongoing counter-terrorism searches in forested areas of the district aimed at detecting militant infrastructure and preventing potential attacks by terrorists operating in the region.
