On March 10, ten schools in Ludhiana District of Punjab received bomb threat emails, triggering panic and heightened security checks, reports The Tribune. The threatening email, sent from an unidentified account, contained references to “Punjab Hul Khalistan” and warned of explosions in schools and trains, while also threatening “parvasi” (migrants) and recalling the June 15, 1991, Baddowal train incident. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sameer Verma confirmed that around 10 schools received the emails, and so far, nothing suspicious had been found.
