On March 09, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot dead a Pakistani intruder attempting to cross the International Border (IB) in the Khemkaran Sector of Tarn Taran District in Punjab, reports The Tribune. The intruder allegedly attempted to secretly enter Indian territory by crossing the IB. Some medicines were recovered from his possession. The body was handed over to the police and shifted to a mortuary in Patti. Police registered a case and initiated an investigation to establish the intruder’s identity and motive.
