On March 9, a gunfight was reported between suspected cadres of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim–Isak Muivah (NSCN-IM) and the Zeliangrong United Front-Jenchui at Taodaijang village under Khoupum Police Station in Noney District of Manipur reports The Sangai Express. The exchange of fire reportedly lasted for about an hour, forcing villagers to flee their homes and seek shelter in safer areas. No casualties were reported. Meanwhile, a video circulated on Facebook allegedly showed suspected cadres of the ZUF capturing a “strategic camp” belonging to the NSCN-IM in the Taodaijang village area.
