On March 7, unidentified armed men, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, seized an official vehicle belonging to the commission of Makran and took along the driver and a security guard in the Surab District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh. Sources said the government vehicle was travelling from Quetta to Turbat, driven by the commissioner’s driver with his gunman, when unidentified armed individuals intercepted it in Surab and took control of the vehicle during the journey.
