On March 4, Alert troops of the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Bhimber Gali sector of Poonch District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Nagaland Post. According to a statement by the Nagrota-based White Knight Corps, movement of terrorists was detected during the early hours following credible intelligence inputs and persistent surveillance. Army troops engaged the infiltrators and successfully prevented any breach of the LoC. The Army stated that troops have been reoriented to maintain domination of the area with integrated ground and aerial surveillance, while heightened alert continues across the sector.
