On March 3, a cadre of the United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) (ULFA-I) identified as ‘second lieutenant’ Bitul Baruah (32) surrendered before Security Forces (SFs) in the Horu Chinghan area in Khonsa in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, reports Northeast Now. During the surrender, SFs recovered one .40 calibre pistol with a magazine and two live rounds of .40 calibre ammunition.
