Five soldiers from the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) were injured after being fired upon by the Kawthoolei Army (KTLA) in Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, according to a statement from the KNU Myeik-Dawei District and revolutionary sources.

Around 3:00 PM on March 4, a KTLA group led by Bo Saw El Khwee (also known as Kaw Lar Pho) ambushed KNLA personnel between Thamee Paw Thaw Village and Kanai Ghor (Pyar Thar Chaung) Village.

The attack injured five soldiers from KNLA Brigade 4, Battalion 12. The personnel were reportedly targeted while traveling to reinforce troops engaged in military operations against the terrorist SAC military.
