The Karen National Union (KNU) has announced that military airstrikes in Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, have killed 10 people, including young children, and injured approximately 20 others.
According to the KNU’s Kawthoolei administrative area for Myeik-Dawei District, Lel Mu Lar (Palaw) Township, a jet fighter dropped four 250-pound bombs on Ta Ku Village on the afternoon of March 10, despite there being no active fighting. This attack killed four people, including one child, and injured 12 others.
