The State Administration Council (SAC) military conducted an airstrike on a religious building in Ta Phi Lay Kho Village, Palaw Township, Tanintharyi Region, killing a total of six people: three children under the age of 11 and three adult men.
The attack occurred around 12:00 PM on March 9, when the military dropped two 500-pound bombs despite there being no active fighting in the area.
Padoh Saw El Nar, Secretary of KNU Brigade 4 (Myeik-Dawei District), told DVB that the building was being used to teach children during their summer school break at the time of the strike.
