State police attacked with explosives in Colotlán. Violence has once again struck northern Jalisco. State police officers were attacked by armed civilians who allegedly used explosives in the community of La Hiedrita, in Colotlán, near the border with Zacatecas. During the attack, one officer was injured in the leg by the blast wave. She was assisted by her colleagues and taken to a hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition. Following the attack, state and federal forces deployed an operation in the area, with support from the National Guard and the Titán air tactical team, while efforts continue to locate those responsible.
