According to military sources, the Arakkha Army (AA) and joint forces attacked the Military Council's explosives factory, Kapa-sa 16, located in Padaung Township, Bago Region, with heavy weaponry. The shells exploded within the factory compound, while the Military Council has been using drones to attack positions held by revolutionary forces.

Revolutionary allied forces reached a point 3 miles away from Kapa-sa 16 and fired heavy weapons at the factory compound on March 1. A military source stated that three heavy weapon shells landed and exploded inside the Kapa-sa 16 facility.
