On 27 February 2026, five people were wounded when a quadcopter drone launched by unidentified militants (coded as TTP) dropped mortar shell on a mosque in Mirbaz Barkazai area of Miryan tehsil (Bannu, KPK), during iftar prayers. The incident occurred amid a broader series of quadcopter attacks on separate locations in Pakistan that were attributed to Afghan military forces, however, Afghan officials did not claim responsibility for this specific strike. Total 5 injured and no fatalities.
