On 27 February 2026, two unknown gunmen riding a motorbike shot and killed two Murshidi relative men in their forties, in Homs - Karm al-Louz in the city of Homs, for unknown reasons. One of the gunmen dismounted, entered a grocery store, and fired six shots, targeting the men in the head and heart, killing them instantly, before fleeing. 2 fatalities.
