On 27 February 2026, in Estancia (Sergipe), civil police officers exchanged fire with a CV member. The officers conducted an operation to locate the suspect, who was wanted as one of the CV's leaders in the state of Bahia. The suspect fired against the officers once he was approached, leading to an armed clash. He was shot and killed, and a second suspect was arrested. Police seized drugs. 1 fatality.
