On 27 February 2026, in Los Limones, Colima, unidentified individuals shot at state police officers of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit on Agua Zarca street, in fraccionamiento Hacienda Buenos Aires. The officers shot back and were reinforced by the military and the National Guard, who engaged in the clash. A police officer died and another was injured. 1 fatality, 1 injured.
