On 26 February 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes using concussion missiles on the outskirts of Beit Mchik town (Baalbek, Baalbek-Hermel). One Syrian national was killed in the attack. The Israeli Army carried out three successive waves of raids targeting the region. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out strikes on eight military facilities affiliated with Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force in eastern Lebanon. The IDF added that the targeted sites in the Bekaa Valley were used to store large quantities of weapons, including rockets, and to conduct training exercises for Radwan Force operatives in preparation for potential attacks against Israel. The Lebanese Health Ministry announced that two people were killed and 29 others were injured in these attacks without specifying the exact locations (coded to this event).
