On 26 February 2026, (from 10:00 pm - 03:00 am), suspected OLF-OLA attacked civilians in Dembeza Wale/Haro Fesho Genet (location coded to the admin center, Gohatsion, Wara Jarso, North Shewa, Oromia) and killed 3 civilians. The armed group also burned and destroyed civilian homes, looted harvests, and stole around 1300 cattle. The violence forced residents to flee their homes.
