On 25 February 2026, Fano militias attacked and killed 5 residents in Charu, Abe Dongoro (Horro Guduru Wollega, Oromia), and in Galesa (coded separately). The armed group also set three homes ablaze and destroyed them, forcing residents to flee. 5 fatalities were split between the two locations and coded as 2 for this event.
