On 25 February 2026, Suspected ISSP (locally called Lakurawa) attacked and killed 5 Muslims while worshipping in a mosque in the Dadinkowa community, location coded to the LGA HQ, Maiyama, Kebbi. They injured three others. The attack was a reprisal for their failed ambush on the military on 23 February 2026, where several of their members were killed.
