SAA event in Ciudad de Mexico, Ciudad de Mexico - Miguel Hidalgo area, Mexico on Wed 25th February 2026

On 25 February 2026, in Ciudad de Mexico - Miguel Hidalgo, according to witnesses, a group of at least four men and two women arrived at a commercial area at the intersection of Poniente 75 and Sur 128 streets in Colonia Amercia and began arguing with street vendors, including a poultry seller (reason unknown). At one point, the individuals began shooting, killing a fruit and vegetable vendor and injuring two people. One of the injured was the son of the dead victim and the other was the poultry seller. After the attack, the perpetrators fled on a motorcycle and other vehicles. The motive for the attack is unknown. 1 fatality, 2 injured.
