On 24 February 2026, near Nga/Oke village (Kyaukpyu township, Kyaukpyu district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted drone strikes two times and dropped bombs with two suicide drones at an IDP camp where IDPs were temporarily staying around 11 am. A 78-year-old man and a 48-year-old man who were staying at the IDP camp were injured. Locals were forced to flee as the military conducted drone strikes.
