On 24 February 2026, armed clashes erupted between police forces and members of Saraya al-Jawad's forces in in Beit Alouni village in Jablah countryside of Lattakia governorate (coded to Qurfays village), during a security operation against the group's positions. The clashes resulted in the killing of one senior member of the armed group. Police forces arrested three members of the armed group, in addition to the arrest of one local resident from the village. 1 fatality.
