On 24 February 2026, armed clashes erupted between an armed group affiliated with members of the Al-Shaarani family (As-Sweida Communal Militia) and a resident of a house in the Al-Maqous neighborhood of As-Sweida city, when the armed group raided the home. The clashes resulted in the killing of a 16-year-old boy and the injury of another individual. 1 fatality.
