On 24 February 2026, ENDF, Amhara regional riot police, and Kebele militia clashed with Fano in Goy Kebele, Derq River, Berenta School, and Addisu Gebeya in Shebel Bernta Woreda (location coded to the admin center, Yeidwuha, Shebel Bernta, East Gojam, Amhara), Yeidwuha (coded separately), leading to killings of forces on both sides. The state security forces stationed in Yeidwuha town initiated the clash, which later escalated into an intensive armed clash with the Fano's counteroffensive. Unspecified number of fatalities coded as 3 and coded as 1 for this event.
