On 24 February 2026, ENDF, Amhara regional riot police, and Kebele militia clashed with Fano in Yeidwuha (Shebel Bernta, East Gojam, Amhara), Goy Kebele, Derq River, Berenta School, and Addisu Gebeya in Shebel Berenta Woreda (coded separately), leading to killings of forces on both sides. The state security forces stationed in Yeidwuha town initiated the clash, which later escalated into an intensive armed clash with the Fano's counteroffensive. Unspecified number of fatalities coded as 3 and coded as 2 for this event.
