On 23 February 2026, in Shwe Kyaung Kan village (Myinmu township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 3 bombs on a Starlink internet cafe and an oil mill with two paramotors from the Northwestern Military Headquarters in Monywa town at around 7:00 pm. Multiple news reported that 9 civilians (a 1-year-old girl and a 4-year-old girl, 3 women and 5 men) were killed and at least 5 others were injured. Another civilian died from sustained injuries later. 10 fatalities.
