On 23 February 2026, in Pang Huong village (coded as Lashio) (Lashio township, Lashio district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNTJP/MNDAA) detained 19 members of the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA) from Pang Nwet and Man Kan villages in the afternoon. Five of them were from the Rule of Law Department and 14 were from the Administration Department. The MNTJP/MNDAA also seized 15 firearms, four motorcycles, and walkie-talkies from them. 18 of them were released at around 8 pm on the same day, while one remained in custody.
