On 23 February 2026, in Nga Nwar Seik village (Kyaukkyi township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military troops stationed in Nat Than Kwin town fired four 81 mm heavy weapons which fell and exploded in the village. A 35-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were injured.
