On 23 February 2026, M23 clashed with Wazalendo from PARECO-FF, Mayi Mayi (Lamuka) and Raia Mutomboki around Mululu, coded to a nearby location Buporo (Masisi, Nord-Kivu), Kawele and around Kanyaru hills (coded separately). Casualties unknown. Hundreds of civilians fled toward Kibabi, Rubaya, Ngungu and the eastern part of the territory.
