On 4 November 2019, regime warplanes carried out airstrikes on Jisr-Ash-Shugur in Idleb amid artillery and rocket shelling, impacting a school during school hours and a dispensary and leading to material damages and the wounding of 2 Civil Defense members and several students. The dispensary sustained damages to the equipment and building. No fatalities were reported.
