On 22 February 2026, near Kyaung Ywar village (Ye township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military (LIB-591) during a clash with the Ye Ogre Group in Kyaung Ywar village (coded separately) landed on a plantation near the Nat Gyi Chaung creek. 5 family members who were collecting thatch were injured by the shelling. One of them, the father, later died from severe injuries. 1 fatality.
