On 22 February 2026, IRG forces clashed with Houthi forces and 'thwarted their attack' in Al Hunaynai village in Uzlat Al Quhayfah region (Maqbanah, Taizz). Casualties unknown. The clash occurred after Houthi forces fired 7 mortar shells of 120 mm caliber targeting the village, resulting in the damage of the village school. The source claimed that the reason behind the shelling was to force the residents to leave the area. There were no casualties in the shelling.
