On 22 February 2026, M23 attacked and clashed with Wazalendo from PARECO-FF, Mayi Mayi (Lamuka) and Raia Mutomboki, led by the self-proclaimed general Mangara in Luke (Masisi, Nord-Kivu). Casualties unknown. Clashes in the Rubaya area between M23 and Wazalendo took place in several locations from 20 February to 23 February (coded separately). Hundreds of civilians fled toward Kibabi, Rubaya, Ngungu and the eastern part of the territory.
