On 22 February 2026, military troops alongside CJTF attacked a suspected 'terrorists' logistics base, coded as ISWAP/Boko Haram (JAS), in Lamisuri, also spelled Lamusheri (Gujba, Yobe), killing 15 militants while several escaped with gunshot wounds. The troops recovered items, including a cache of arms and ammunition, as well as two bandoliers and camel pouches, and destroyed all identified life-support facilities. Two soldiers were injured in the operation.
