Around 22 February 2026 (as reported), in Feira de Santana (Bahia), military police officers exchanged fire with unidentified armed suspects in the Queimadinha neighbourhood. The officers were conducting a routine patrol when they spotted the suspects, who fired against them. An armed clash took place and the suspects escaped. Police seized a firearm and drugs. There were no casualties.
