On 22 February 2026, in the afternoon, an unidentified armed group ambushed a motorcycle ridden by a military officer and two civilians between Fafalko and Koloy, coded to Damre (Kimiti, Sila), a midpoint between the two locations. The military officers and the civilians were injured and hospitalized. There were no fatalities.
