On 21 February 2026, security forces (coded as military) killed two Baloch Separatist militants during an operation in Gargina area of Mastung district (Mastung, Balochistan). The militants had attempted to block a highway by setting up snap-checks, leading to an exchange of heavy fire. Some assailants are claimed to have fled on motorbikes, after which security forces launched a search operation in the area. Total 2 fatalities.
