SAA event in Tunapuna Piarco, Tunapuna area, Trinidad and Tobago on Sat 21st February 2026

On 21 February 2026, in Tunapuna, Tunapuna Piarco, overnight, unidentified armed individuals shot and killed two men and injured at least two other people at the corner of El Dorado Road and Marcano Drive. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. The motivation for the attack was not clarified, although a resident urged the police to look at their ranks. He blamed a police officer of being running a drug point in the neighborhood. The resident suggested that the attack could be linked to rivalry between two drug blocks. 2 fatalities, at least 2 injured.
