On 21 February 2026, in Kenscoff - Godet, Ouest, in the early morning, police forces supported by the Task Force Police and the Community Military Police (coded as Police forces) killed at least 16 Viv Ansanm gang members and injured several others during an operation in the Godet neighborhood and the nearby Wynn Farm natural reserve. Some criminals were killed by the shooting of snipers while others were hit by drones charged with explosives launched by the Task Force Police. The police intervention motivated a reprisal attack in Morne Tranchant hours later (coded separately). At least 16 fatalities. Several injured.
