On 21 February 2026, armed youth suspected of being from Unity State's Mayom County (likely members of the Bul Nuer community, who are predominant in the area) raided 275 cattle in Ayen Akuol area of Mangok Amiol Boma, Turalei Payam (location coded to Turalei, the nearest known location in Twic County, Warrap State), resulting in an armed clash in Adhoth Kuooc area after locals pursued the raiders. 20 cattle were killed during the clash, while several others were recovered. There were no human casualties. The victims of the raid are likely members of the Twic Dinka community, who are predominant in the area.
