On 21 February 2026, SPLM/A-IO members shot at an INGO convoy traveling along the Walgak-Akobo Road, at an unspecified location in Dengjok Payam (Akobo County, Jonglei State). There were no casualties, but one of the vehicles was hit by 4 bullets. The SPLM/A-IO members claimed the shooting was a result of mistaken identity and allowed the vehicles to proceed.
