On 21 February 2026, international forces (coded as Unidentified Military Forces) launched an airstrike targeting Al Shabaab gathering in Ciid-Ciidka Jimbillow near Mahadaay village (Jowhar, Middle Shabelle). More than 10 Al Shabaab members were killed, and several others were injured.
