A military convoy coming from Sagaing-based Division 33 was attacked with landmines and a combination of heavy and small arms along the Monywa-Chaung-U road, an official from the Area 71 Local People's Defense Force (LPDF) – Monywa told Red Peacock News.

The official from Area 71 PDF stated that at around 7:00 PM last night, the convoy was transporting acid tanker trucks destined for the Wanbao Company in Salingyi Township, as well as weapons and ammunition for the Northwestern Military Command.
