SAA event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mattani, Peshawar District area, Pakistan on Fri 27th February 2026

Six civilians and two Policemen sustained injuries in three terrorist attacks were reported in Peshawar District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 27, reports The Khorasan Diary. Terrorists targeted the police post of Matani Police Station. Armed attackers hurled a hand grenade at the Sra Khawara police post near the Police Station. As a result of the attack, one constable, Tahir Shah, and six civilians were injured. A Police personnel was injured after unidentified terrorists hurled a hand grenade at Budh Bair Police station. One constable, Faisal, sustained minor injuries. Another police station in Mattani, on the outskirts of Peshawar, came under attack by terrorists who fired multiple round at the Police Station but the attack was repelled by the personnel present.
