The former home of Mullah Omar, the late founder of the Taliban, which is also a base for the Taliban’s suicide unit, in Kandahar city, was among the sites struck in Pakistani attacks overnight, Amu TV reports on February 27. The property is about one kilometer from one of the residences of Taliban Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada. Taliban have not publicly commented on the reported strike on the Kandahar site.
