On February 26, Police arrested Arshdeep Masih alias Shubham and Phillips alias Pawan, residents of Johal Kotla Gujran in Amritsar District of Punjab, associates of gang kingpin Laras Masih, and recovered 264 grams of heroin, a pistol, one AK-47 magazine and 17 rounds of ammunition, reports The Tribune. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sukhbir Singh said earlier arrests included Laras Masih and Sandeep Masih, with total recovery so far of four pistols, 37 rounds, three AK-47 magazines and 528 grams of heroin. A case was registered on January 13, and further investigation is ongoing.
