Grenade event in Manipur, Kakching Khunou, Pamchou Hill Range, Kakching District area, India on Wed 25th February 2026

On February 25, Security Forces (SFs) recovered one AK-56 rifle with magazine loaded with 10 live rounds along with bayonet, two Single Barrel Breech Loading (SBBLs), one Double Barrel Breech Loading (DBBL), one .32 pistol with magazine loaded with five live rounds, two No. 36 highly explosive (HE) hand-grenades, three Emuldyne explosives (Class-2), three detonators, 256 .303 rifle live rounds, 48 5.56 x 45 mm empty cases, three stun shells, one tear smoke grenade, one Baofeng handset, one camouflage helmet and one gunny bag from Kakching Khunou, Pamchou hill range, Pamchou Lamkhai area under Waikhong Police Station in Kakching District of Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X.
