Two constables of the Punjab Police were killed while four persons, including a Police constable, sustained injuries when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the inter-provincial check-post Dajal area of Bhakkar District in Punjab at 6.54pm on February 24, reports The Khorasan Diary. The check-post was located at the boundary of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwas Dera Ismail Khan District. Two out of four injured were Polio workers, one was a passer-by, and the other was a Police constable. In the CCTV footage, a person with a black shawl could be seen going towards the check-post minutes before exploding himself. A lesser-known militant outfit, Ittehadul Mujahideen Pakistan-affiliated Ansar al Islam Pakistan, claimed the responsibility in a statement stating that its suicide bomber Abu Darda carried out the attack.
