Grenade
Grenade event in Punjab, Moga District area, India on Tue 24th February 2026
24th February 2026
On February 24, Police claimed to have recovered two live hand grenades at the "shooters point" in Moga District of Punjab, linked to the 10 February firing on migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, reports The Tribune. Acting on intelligence, police increased security at rice shellers, factories, and migrant residential areas. Two suspects were arrested near Ghalkalan village earlier; firearms and a motorcycle seized. Investigation indicates involvement of foreign-based handlers and a potential drone-drop link from the international border. The plot is considered a calculated attempt to disturb communal harmony. Police are also probing the "third man" who recorded the viral video of the attack.
